Horseshoe Indianapolis | Race Marketing Intern

At Horseshoe Indianapolis, I wore many hats as part of a small yet dynamic marketing team of three, supporting a property that generates nearly $400 million in revenue each season. My responsibilities included all things marketing including managing and executing daily and weekly events and contests, event management with initial planning to setup and teardown, graphic design for social posts and on-property collateral. I also maintained strong relationships with media outlets, capturing photos and quotes from jockeys to amplify the property's promotional efforts. Additionally, I served as on-screen talent for various channels, showcasing my ability to blend marketing expertise with media engagement.

My role required adaptability and creativity as I balanced a wide range of tasks. One evening, I might focus on designing and coordinating billboard advertisements to boost brand visibility, while the next evening, I could be interacting with guests, capturing social media content, or photographing face painters at family-friendly nights. This multifaceted position allowed me to contribute to the vibrant atmosphere of Horseshoe Indianapolis while ensuring every guest experience was memorable!
